Povishield™ 10% solution is an aqueous solution of 10% povidone-iodine. Povishield solution is a fast-acting, broad-spectrum antiseptic that kills gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (including antibiotic-resistant organisms like mrsa), as well as most fungi/yeasts, viruses and protozoa.

Povishield 10% solution is indicated as topical germicidal of patient’s skin, wounds and mucous membranes, for preoperative skin preparation of patients and post-operative irrigation and dressing of operative sites.
